Design EPS is capable of taking a project from start to finish. When we first meet a
client to discuss the project, we are able to draw upon our years of experience to layout
the design that is not only functional but suits the needs of the client. Once the general
design is agreed upon, our design team works directly with our sales force to finalize the
scope of the work as well as work within the budget guidelines established by the client. Once
the final scope and design of the project is completed, our design team, including our
in-house Professional Engineer, has the ability to prepare and submit the design to state
and local authorities for approval.

Installation Our highly qualified technicians all have large scale commercial
experience. This enables us to work well with various trades during either building
construction or remodeling projects. Our experience in building automation systems
gives us the edge in working with various types of equipment and the ability to create

Case Studies:
Construction Industry:
EPS was approached five years ago by a large construction firm looking for a
viable security solution for their very dynamic job sites. The site equipment was constantly flowing
from site to site and a practical solution was needed that would allow total protection of the equipment
no matter what site the equipment was on. EPS teamed up with several manufacturers to custom design a
system that would allow the end-user superior protection, while not jeopardizing the ease of use for
their employees. In addition, EPS was able to custom design several devices to protect additional
equipment that normally would have gone unprotected, thus providing a greater return on investment
for the client.
Utility Industry:
After September 11th, 2001, EPS was approached by a large public utility and asked to provide a
feasible solution to protect the citys extensive water treatment facilities. EPS rose to the
challenge by teaming with a local architect to not only ensure the buildings on the site were
safe, but that the entire site was protected from intrusion. A dual layer fence as well as an
electronic perimeter detection system was installed. Access control was added to the electronic
gates for ease of access for authorized personnel and the whole site was watched over with
several video cameras. By broadcasting the video from these cameras wirelessly to another
facility 3 miles away, EPS was able to save the city thousands of dollars per year in
labor to man the site.
Public Schools:
Protecting Americas schools has become a priority across the U.S. in recent years and
Ohio is no exception. EPS recently installed over 20 cameras in three school buildings
in a district in Central Ohio. By utilizing their existing wide area network, EPS was
able to allow the administration to view any camera in the district from any computer
in the district. Utilizing this innovative solution, the district administrators have
the ability to assess a situation quickly and resolve issues in a very timely manner.
